01
Fitspo is a single, full-service gym with a serious mix of facilities under one roof — a strength and conditioning floor, a climbing wall, a 25m swimming pool, a sports complex for indoor courts and pickup leagues, and a full group class programme. Their existing website didn't reflect any of that. It looked like a templated gym site from a decade ago, the membership flow was clunky enough that staff were routinely signing people up in person instead, and there was no real space for the news, class updates and community content the team kept producing. The brief was a modern site that did three things well: communicate what Fitspo actually is (a proper multi-discipline club, not just a row of treadmills), let people register for a membership without picking up the phone, and give the team a blog they'd actually use.
02
We started from the membership flow and worked outward. If someone arrives intending to join, the path from homepage to confirmed sign-up needed to be short, obvious and free of the dark patterns most gym sites lean on. Four clear tiers, plain pricing, no asterisks, no "starting from" sleight of hand. The rest of the site is built to support that decision — facility cards on the homepage so visitors can see what's actually inside the club, a news section the team can publish to without needing a developer, and class and pricing pages that load fast on a phone in a locker room. The visual language is dark, photographic and confident, with a single bright blue carrying every action. The tone of voice is grown-up — "Invest in your health. Train with purpose." rather than the hype-and-shred register most gyms reach for. The result feels less like a hard sell and more like a club worth joining.
03
A modern, fully responsive website for a full-service gym — built around membership conversion, content publishing and day-to-day operational use.Delivered: full site design and build, online membership registration with tier selection, integrated news/blog with CMS access for the team, facility pages for the strength floor, pool, climbing wall and sports complex, class schedules, pricing system, multilingual setup (EN/ET), and the underlying component library for the team to extend the site over time.
04
The new site shifted a measurable share of Fitspo's sign-ups from in-person and phone to online — freeing front-desk staff to focus on members in the building rather than admin. The blog moved from a dormant section into something the team publishes to weekly, with class updates, coach features and community pieces all running through the same CMS. The structure also gave Fitspo room to grow. New facilities, class formats and membership tiers can be added without a redesign — which, for a club with a wide and evolving offering, was the whole point.

01 / Discover

Audit & user flows

Walked through the existing site as a prospective member, mapped where people dropped off, and talked to staff about the sign-ups they were doing manually.

02 / Define

Structure & priorities

Anchored the site on three jobs: explain the facilities, convert memberships, and host the team's content. Cut everything that didn't serve one of those three.

03 / Design

UI & component system

Designed the full interface — homepage, facility cards, membership flow, news templates, pricing — and built the component library underneath so the team could extend the site themselves.

04 / Build

Development & handover

Developed the site, integrated the membership and CMS systems, set up the bilingual (EN/ET) framework, and handed over a site the team can run without a developer on call.
